Order of The Arrow

Ittawamba Lodge #235
www.ittawamba.org

Order of the Arrow -This is a national brotherhood of Scout campers. The honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Arrow is one that you cannot set out to earn on your own. This honor is bestowed on a Scout by the members of his troop. This is done when he has proven himself worthy of  receiving it. He must be an outstanding Scout and an unselfish camper.  The Order recognizes those campers who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition causes other campers to conduct  themselves in such a manner as to warrant similar recognition, to promote Scout camping, and to crystallize the habit of  helpfulness as a life purpose.

Brothers In The Order,

Once again the Ittawamba Lodge is pleased to offer you an opportunity to purchase the "Gold Card" for another year.  After carefully reviewing event costs, we have been able to reduce the cost for this new Gold Card by $5.  The Gold Card cost for 2006-2007 is $65 for all events - see the attached information sheet and application for more details.

If your Gold Card application is received at the Scout Office with proper payment by close of business August 31, it will be available for your pick-up at Fall Fellowship on September 16, 2006.

In Brotherhood & Service,
Rick Ribble
